Who we are

FluenZ Class is an online English teaching service run by Ahmed Ali. You can reach us on WhatsApp using the link at the bottom of every page.

What we collect

Your account: the parent's phone number (verified with a code), the password you choose (kept only in a one-way scrambled form that nobody can read back), name, optional e-mail, language, and when you accepted this policy.

Trial session bookings: your name, your WhatsApp number, your child's school stage and, if you add them, your main concern and the kind of school; where the booking came from (the page and the campaign in its link); and our team's notes on arranging the session.

Your children's profiles: a first name, birth year, school grade and level; gender and birthday only if you give them. We never ask for photos, surnames or full birth dates.

Learning: what each child opens and finishes, their stars, badges and room, an optional daily mood (great, okay, tired), live sessions joined, and the teacher's notes for you.

Plans and payments: requests, plans, amounts, how you paid and the reference you gave.

Analytics on this website

Before you choose, we only count page views and measure page speed, with no cookie and no identifier. Your IP address is never stored: we keep the country and city it comes from.

If you allow analytics, we set two first-party cookies (a random visitor id and a 30-minute visit id) and record how you use the site: pages, clicks on our buttons, how far you scroll, active time, where you came from (the website or campaign) and the sign-up steps. This helps us find and fix problems.

If we use PostHog (EU servers), it records heatmaps and visits on the public pages only, with everything you type hidden. It never runs on the sign-in pages, the parent area or the student area.

Errors on the site are recorded with personal details removed, so we can fix them; if we use Sentry, they are also sent there.

We don't use browser fingerprinting, and we don't guess age or gender from how you browse: those come only from what you enter in your children's profiles, and we report them only in totals.

Advertising

Only if you allow marketing cookies, and only if we advertise there, we tell the ad platform (for example Meta or TikTok) from our server that a trial session was booked or its time agreed, or that a sign-up or a payment happened, with your phone number scrambled (hashed) so it can't be read. No ad tracking code runs in your browser, and nothing about the student area is ever shared.

Children

The platform is for children aged 6 to 15, set up and controlled by a parent. There are no ads, no outside links and no chat with strangers in the student area. Their learning records stay with us: no recordings, no ad tools and no analytics vendors there. We never sell children's data or use it for advertising.

Why we use it

To provide the service you asked for (a trial session booking, your account, lessons, live sessions, plans); with your consent (analytics and marketing cookies, which you can withdraw at any time); and for our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and working (error records, page counts without identifiers, the audit log of staff actions).

How long we keep it

Analytics events and visitor records: 13 months. Error records: 90 days. Trial session bookings: a year. Daily moods: 90 days, then only weekly totals for all children together. Your account and learning: as long as you use FluenZ Class, until you ask us to delete them. Payment records: as long as the law requires for accounting.

Who helps us

Service providers that run parts of the platform under contracts that protect your data: hosting and the database, messaging (WhatsApp and SMS codes), file and video storage, and, if used, PostHog (EU) for analytics and Sentry for errors. Some of them process data outside your country; we choose providers with recognised safeguards. We do not sell personal data, and share it only as described here or when the law requires it.

Your rights

In the parent area you can download a copy of everything we keep about your family at any time, correct your details and your children's, and ask us to delete your account. We delete within 30 days and confirm on WhatsApp; payment records stay for accounting, with no name or number attached.

You can change your cookie choices at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. For anything else, or to complain, message us on WhatsApp; you can also contact your country's data protection authority.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app and ask again where your consent is needed.
